The Ozempic® pen (once weekly) uses an FDA approved prescription medication called Semaglutide.
Semaglutide is licensed to treat type-2 diabetes and prescribed to certain high-risk patients to aid weight loss under the trade name of Ozempic®.
A simple injection is self-administered once weekly with an easy-to-use pen that is pre-filled with the medication.
