  • What is Profhilo and how does it work?
    Profhilo is a bioremodelling treatment which works to ‘cure’ wrinkles, adding weightless volume for a youthful look. It has a unique tightening effect to remodel sagging tissue. The procedure saturates your skin cells in pure Hyaluronic Acid which then results in plumped, firm & healthy looking skin.
    A minimum of 2 treatments are required a month apart. The procedure is quick and comfortable and results are expected 8 weeks from the final treatment.
  • Which areas can be treated with Profhilo?
    Profhilo is suitable for the face, neck & hands, remodelling the most delicate of skins. Due to its pure hyaluronic acid content Profhilo offers a new approach to anti ageing procedures.
  • How soon will I see results?
    Results are seen 8 weeks after the second treatment but in some cases can be seen before.
  • How long do the results last?
    Prohilo usually lasts around 6 months. Your practitioner will discuss with you whens best to book in for your follow up maintenance treatment.
  • Is Profhilo safe?
    The product we use is extremely safe and side effects are temporary and minor. They can include slight redness, possible swelling and bleeding at the injection site with a small chance of localised bruising.
  • How should I care for my skin after Profhilo?
    Following our aftercare steps will help maximise the effects of your Profhilo treatment:
    Avoid excessive rubbing of treated areas for 24 hours
    Avoid exercise for 24 hours
    Do not use sun beds or expose treated area(s) to direct sunlight for 3-4 days
    Normal skincare / make up routines can be performed but avoid excess pressure
    Please note, if you have regular facials inform your beautician / therapist so she can perform light massage to the dermal filler treated area(s).
