SYringomas

What are Syringomas
Syringomas are common tiny papules (small, solid bumps) usually found on the lower eyelids of young adults, but they can occur anywhere on the body and at any age. Syringomas are harmless and are caused by the overgrowth of cells from sweat glands (eccrine glands).
How do we remove Syringomas at Persona?
Syringomas are removed by Diathermy. Diathermy treatment, is a commonly used procedure which uses an electrical current to produce heat. The heat is passed through a small fine tip needle which is used to cauterise (seal or coagulate) tissue and blood vessels.
